Home SWEET Home!

I just booked my trip home to my little tiny hometown Placerville.
(Also known as the pit stop between Sacramento and Tahoe with the In N Out)
I'll fly up for 10 days, visit with Grandma & Grandpa, eat an amazing Thanksgiving dinner, take a trip up to Tahoe, maybe ski and snowboard with my little brothers, go to the Main Street Christmas tree lighting, and visit with a few old friends. Hopefully it will still look similar to this...

My kitties love each other so much, they give hugs.

Let the countdown begin.... 12 days!

Blogging 101 in 2010

Note to self: this whole blogging thing is much more creative and advanced than it was a year ago. I guess time flies when you're having fun. Not that I'm not having fun now... It's just with all new amazing and fun people I've managed to meet over the past year.

Rewind a year ago and my world involved Shea, Brent, Riley, and Cory.
Shea is still around almost everyday so nothing is new there except her boyfriend Tyler moving to town and joining the group.

Brent is still away at school in Chicago but he will be coming to visit SD this December!

Riley is now engaged and I can't wait to do her engagement pictures.

Cory is no longer but we're slowly figuring out the whole friends thing.

Mandy came to VP and joined the circle along with Steven. They both LOVE It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and I have to say, it is pretty funny. Nobody does impressions of them as good as Steven can... Check out the best clip EVER! And Mandy's ringtone is always good for a laugh.

Next, there is Amanda. She's done my hair for a while, but we've managed to make it a habit to go to Taco Tuesdays, recite the entire Hangover movie to each other and still find it funny, and have quality girl time.
And then there is Brittney, Taylor, and Daniella who are always down to go out and take over the streets of Carlsbad.

Kayce and I have made it a habit to always embrace our Thursday nights with Pizza Port, The Bottle Shop, and a good local softball game. We also occupy our time together with coaster rides, downtown outings, and occasionally good margarita or two.

Suzanne and Danielle are also two of my favorites. A night with them is always unforgettable and you never know what we may decide to do...

There's a few others and more are added to the list with each new adventure.

As for now, I am happy to be getting back into my blogging habits, enjoying this weird weather, and loving San Diego.

Your life is perfect as it is, if you live it with your heart wide open.
